Welcome to Vidtionary’s “Job and Places” collection. Here, you’ll find a great set of videos related to places in a city and jobs. The two categories are linked, because it’s often the case that we’ll talk about a place at the same time as we talk about an occupations. Doctors work at hospitals, teachers at schools, firefighters at the fire station, politicians at city hall, and so on.
Many of the videos in this collection use a common template. For the “Places” collection, a grid of icons on an abstract city map has been created. Each video begins with a zoom-in shot on the featured place. For the “Jobs” collection, a jobs portal has been created, in which icons of numerous jobs speed by the door until the selected job is reached. All of these icons come originate from the Noun Project, a great collection of black and white icons that you might consider using in your own projects.
